Family Advocate (Austin)

The Center for Child Protection is currently accepting applications for a Family Advocate position. The Family Advocate would be responsible for providing crisis counseling, emergency assessments, counseling support and case management services to families involved in the child abuse and neglect systems. The position works closely with other Center for Child Protection staff and Child Protection Team members including law enforcement and child protective services.

Requirements include a Master's degree in a behavioral science and licensure as an LMSW, LCSW, LPC or LPCI. Experience in providing crisis intervention and case management required. Experience in working with a multidisciplinary team preferred. Willingness to obtain certification in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (at the Center's expense) is required.
