Partners in Courage Awards Luncheon Highlights
CACTX held the Annual Partners in Courage Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center in Austin. Each year, CACTX honors individuals who have demonstrated their commitment and dedication to helping abused children through investigation, prosecution and the provision of healing services in cases involving crimes against children. This year we were pleased to honor Representative Jim Pitts (Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee), as well as four award recipients from local centers, including:
- Lee Hon, Polk County District Attorney/Childrenz Haven CAC (CAC Multidisciplinary Team Member)
- Carolyn Speese/CAC of Collin County (CAC Volunteer)
- John Wyckoff/Gingerbread House CAC (CAC Staff)
- Special Recognition: The One With Courage Award was presented to Nancy Hagan (Alliance for Children)
