| Mission Statement: | It is the mission of Virginia's House - A Family Resource Center to identify the needs of children in Young County, Texas and to develop and implement programs designed to meet those needs. The specific mission of the Child Advocacy Program, the Center's primary component, is to work in partnership with all local, state and federal agencies involved in the investigation and prosecution of child abuse cases in Young and Stephens Counties using a multidisciplinary approach, in an attempt to reduce the trauma of this process for child victims and their-non offending family members and to facilitate prosecution of those individuals who perpetrate these crimes against children. |
