| Facility Information: | Square footage: 14,174. The Dallas Children's Advocacy Center is located in a restored turn of the century Victorian home with a residential setting. The center expanded its existing space by adding a new two-story facility with 8,500 square feet immediately adjacent to the original facility. This new facility houses most of the professionals and the therapy program, while maintaining the environment of the original house. It is conveniently accessible to downtown Dallas and to collaborating agencies. The advocacy center is completely child oriented and handicap accessible with an open, non-threatening non-institutional environment. All of the services needed by child victims are available or coordinated through this one location. The advocacy center is owned by its agency Board of Trustees. |
