| Facility Information: | Square footage: 3,703. The Ellis County Children's Advocacy Center dba "The Gingerbread House" moved into their new building this fall 2007. It is located north of downtown Waxahachie with quick access to the Ellis County Courthouse, Ellis County Sheriff's Office and the Waxahachie Police Station. Included in the building are offices for an Investigator for the Ellis County District Attorney's Office, an Assistant District Attorney, Texas Department of Family and Protective Services' Caseworker, Law Enforcement Investigators, interview room, observation room, kitchen area, two public restrooms, two staff restrooms, conference room, board room and the family waiting and play area. |
