| Facility Information: | Square footage: 56,000. The Children's Assessment Center is centrally located near Rice University and the Houston Medical Center. The land that this neutral, free-standing facility occupies was deeded to The CAC by Harris County Commissioners Court in exchange for services. The, CAC has a new digital web-based video recording system installed to support 5 forensic interviewing rooms and 5 viewing rooms, a full-service medical clinic with digital equipment and a conference and training library, office space for each of our partner agency's employees, three play therapy rooms, an Expressive Arts Therapy room, Group/family therapy rooms, Art therapy room, two outdoor play grounds, an indoor play area which includes a full-service kitchen and a children's clothes/supply room, large conference and training room which can be partitioned into two separate rooms, covered patio area, and a covered three-story parking garage |
