| Facility Information: | Square footage: 12,000. The Wichita Falls Center was originally a Victorian home built in the early 1990's. The home was later expanded and operated as a funeral home until late 1999. The facility is ideal for a Children's Advocacy Center because of the homelike interior and the amount of space available for offices and meeting rooms. The Center's secure entrance is monitored via video and audio, assuring our families privacy and security. Inside, the reception office leads to the Family Room, which was the original living room of the home. A Children's Playroom and offices of the Executive Director, Social Services Coordinator, and Outreach Services Coordinator are adjacent to the Family Room. The Forensic Interview Room is separated from the Family Room and is adjacent to the Recording and Observation Room. Just down the hall from the Family Room is the Counseling Office, which is large enough to accommodate play, art, and movement therapy. A spacious Conference Room that will easily seat 50 people is located on the east side of the building on the ground floor. A second Family Room is adjacent to the Conference Room. This is second Family Room allows the Center to accommodate multiple families and to afford privacy to families in crisis. The second floor of the Center consists of offices for CPS investigators and Wichita Falls Police Detectives, along with kitchen/break room. A restroom is located on each floor of the Center. On the west side of the building, the Community Partners Rainbow House operates in approximately 3,700 square feet, which includes over 2,000 square feet of display room, the Director's office, a conference room, and two restrooms. |
