Mission Statement: The mission of the Henderson County Child Advocacy Center is to ensure that a multi-disciplinary team acts in partnership to deliver comprehensive services to meet the needs of child sexual and physical abuse victims, and their non-offending family members: To enable the child and the child's non-offending family members to return to a sense of safety, trust, and control through appropriate therapeutic treatment; To reduce the number of interviews required of a child abuse victim in order to minimize the negative impact of the investigation; To facilitate an investigation and prosecution of those individuals who perpetrate these crimes against children of Henderson County.

Facility Information: Square footage: 5,000. Facility Description: The Child Advocacy Center is an umbrella program of the HENDERSON COUNTY HELP CENTER. The center utilizes a child friendly waiting room, interview room, observation room, 2 therapy offices and one therapy play room. Other space available to the program includes a waiting area, kitchen, playground, conference room, and children's library.
