| Mission Statement: | The mission of the Henderson County Child Advocacy Center is to ensure that a multi-disciplinary team acts in partnership to deliver comprehensive services to meet the needs of child sexual and physical abuse victims, and their non-offending family members: To enable the child and the child's non-offending family members to return to a sense of safety, trust, and control through appropriate therapeutic treatment; To reduce the number of interviews required of a child abuse victim in order to minimize the negative impact of the investigation; To facilitate an investigation and prosecution of those individuals who perpetrate these crimes against children of Henderson County. |
