Facility Information: Square footage: 8,108. The Center is located at 2323 Columbus in downtown Waco. The building was purchased and renovated in 1998. It is located on a quiet street in the middle of a mix of commercial and residential properties. The building is handicap accessible. The facility houses the Advocacy Center's comprehensive programs for crime victim services. Easily accessible from the child-friendly waiting room, the Children's Advocacy Center program includes offices for the Program Director, forensic interviewer and the Medical Director, an interview room and an observation room, an examination room, bathroom, and a conference room for multidisciplinary staffing. The Waco Police Department Crimes Against Children Unit is housed in the same building.
