In one year, more than 70,000 cases of child abuse were confirmed in Texas.

1 in 4 Girls is sexually abused before her 18th birthday.

1 in 6 boys is sexually abused before his 18th birthday.

A Children's Advocacy Center is the ONE non-profit to serve as the first stop for children entering the justice system because of suspected sexual abuse, serious physical abuse, and those who have witnessed a violent crime… last year almost 40,000 children received critical services at a Texas CAC.

There are 64 Children's Advocacy Centers in the State of Texas… more than any other state in the nation.

Texas CACs provide comprehensive services in 158 Counties across Texas as well as a variety of vital courtesy services in Texas' other 96 Counties.

95% of the children served by a children's advocacy center last year knew their perpetrator.

73% of CAC clients were involved in child sexual abuse cases.

Almost three quarters of the children served by CACs last year were under the age of 13. Thirty percent were not even old enough to attend kindergarten.
